We were blessed to be able to go to the Phoenix area to visit with about 6 others pastors & churches! We had several meeting with some really neat Lutheran pastors & took tours of all their churches. We also drove over to Saddleback & toured and went to a service there as well. The kids were great - Joshua was our little spy & checked out all the children's ministries for us. Mashy & Daniel were patient in touring and listening to lots of discussions about church life.
In between we all went to Disneyland and saw the Grand Canyone & Sedona. Jeff & Betty Braucher (Arizona natives & now new Powhatan residents) were our hosts & tour guides. They were wonderful!
The whole week was encouraging, inspiring, exhausting, and exhilirating!
