Vacation

The Hughes' were Orlando bound last Sunday, Jan 27. After a normal Sunday morning at church, we drove straight through to Orlando and arrived around midnight and joined Aunt Roxane and cousins "Big Josh" and Rachel.

We had a wonderfult week. Joshua was tall enough to ride all the big rides, but still small enough to want to get all the character's autographs. So...we rode every roller coaster, saw parades, got autographs of Disney characters, bought mouse ears, walked and ate, and walked and ate more!

One funny story: In the Magic Kingdon, there is a place called "Tomorrowland" where they have some high tech rides and just fun stuff. Every once in a while you can see a talking trash can (operated via remote control by a Disney employee close by). After running into this trash can one day, the next day we had Joshua convinced that the talking trach can was back (even though it was just a regular trash can). He was trying to talk to it and even stuck his head inside to see if he could get it to respond! :)
